Progress on our 2030 Strategy is well underway, with the first round of consultation completed in September 2024.
More than 1,200 responses were received during the initial round of consultation, and we would like to thank everyone who shared their thoughts on UOW’s purpose and our core strategic themes. A summary of the feedback is available to review below under ‘Consultation report’.
The Senior Executive and University Council reviewed the feedback provided in October 2024, which is helping to shape the 2030 Strategy Discussion Paper currently in development for the next round of consultation, set to take place mid-year.
Professor Max Lu AO will commence as the UOW Vice-Chancellor and President in May 2025 and there will be further consultation at that point with the University community to socialise the direction of the 2030 Strategy and gather thoughts and perspectives from stakeholders.
